Today
for sale is NWA 5554, a unique H/L3-6!
The newest edition
of "Meteorites from A to Z" does not mention an H/L3-6 chondrite, so it seems, that this is the first one of its kind! These are big,
stunning slices, 2 to 4 mm thick and polished on both sides, every slice a centerpiece for your collection!
NWA 5386, a very nice LL5 chondrite. Very fresh (W1), It was found in 2007 and TKW is 276 g. All slicese are very nicely cut and polished
on one side.
NWA 5390, a stunning LL4,
classified in 2008. It's very fresh (W1), TKW is a mere 287.6 grams. All slices are nicely cut, about 2 mm thick and polished
on one side.
NWA 3080. This is an
absolutely fresh (W0) black chondrite with strange white inclusions and shiny metal spots! It's classified as an L 6 impact melt (Classification: Dr. A. Greshake Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany). The thin slices are nicely polished on one side.
Sahara 98035. This is a very
rare L/LL3, an unequilibrated chondrite, found in 1998. TKW
is a mere 640 g, (W1, S3). This meteorite looks just great, chondrules, chondrules...and almost no space for matrix...
